Klasika Plus: "Antonini Cast a Spell"

I was so glad to read this generous review from Rafael Brom in Klasika Plus, published under the headline *Antonini čaroval* - "Antonini Cast a Spell".
The concert on 14 January at the Dvořák Hall, Rudolfinum was one of those evenings that felt special from the very first bar. Playing the Beethoven Triple Concerto alongside Jan Fišer and Václav Petr, and under Giovanni Antonini's direction, was a real privilege. That feeling of chamber music within the larger orchestral space was exactly what this piece calls for.
For our encore we played *Soir* (Evening) by Mel Bonis - a piece I've been drawn to for some time. Brom compares its mood to the Suk *Elegy*, which felt like exactly the right description.
